The Soaring Spirit has designed a unique boarding facility with an open format that not only meets the physical needs of companion parrots, it meets their psychological needs as well. We have developed a facility that promotes intellectual stimulation, entertainment and physical interaction for our feathered guests. We provide a clean, healthy environment, daily showers, fresh fruit and veggies, out of cage play time, DVDs, CDs and Satellite TV. Our walls are cheerfully painted and wallpapered, which makes the facility look like a child's room. Many of our happy clients refer to us as "the Day-care for parrots!"

We only take a maximum of 10 boarders at a time. This allows us to spend ample time with each of our guests. We book up quickly for Holidays, so please reserve a space early.

Since we have adopted an open format for boarding, we must have in place strict health requirements to protect our feathered guests. We consulted at length with Dr. Tammy Jenkins, St. Frances Bird and Animal Hospital, as to what our requirements should be. Dr Jenkins is among the top Avian Veterinarians in the country.
